Today we learned about what makes a structure strong. We tried to find out what the strongest shape was. We looked at photos of buildings, bridges and spider webs and wondered what made them strong. Then we tried to work as a team and make a strong structure using toothpicks and marshmallows. What do you think makes a structure strong?
We are a class of 4 year old children who are pre enrolled at Russell Street School. We meet in the school library on Fridays at 1.30 for 45 mins. We participate in literacy and numeracy activities and get to know other children who will be in our class when we start school.
