Thomas and his mum think Toucans have really big beaks so that they can reach fruits high in the tree, they use their beak to pick the fruit :)

We did a google search and found out that the Toucans beak is used to help them reach fruit in the trees. They also eat insects, and somtimes young birds, eggs and lizards.

ReplyDeleteWe found out that the Toucan is very noisy and sounds like a frog croaking, and a Toucan can live for up to 20 years and weighs the same as a can of food. Also the Spanish word for Toucan is Tucan.
